European University Championships 2015

Czech University Championship participants succeeded in tennis, table tennis, sport climbing, bridge and judo.

European Universities Table Tennis Championship, Geneva, Switzerland, June 19 – 23, 2015

Michal Benes won the 1st place in singles. The 3rd place was taken by Ondrej Bajger, both representatives of University of Technics in Ostrava. In doubles the team of Bajger/Benes won the 1st place as well. The Czech university team of men was placed 6th in total standing.

European Universities Tennis Championship, Wroclaw, Poland, 27 July 27 – August 2, 2015

In total standing the men’s Czech university team from Technical University in Ostrava was placed 2nd.

European Universities Sport Climbing Championship, Katovice, Poland, 5-9 August 2015

In total standing The University of West Bohemia was placed 18th and College of Polytechnics Jihlava was placed 24th.

European Universities Bridge Championship, Warsaw, Poland, August 31 – September 6, 2015

The winner of the EUC Bridge 2015 is the Czech university team from the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague.

European Universities Judo Championship, Reims, France, October 7 – 10, 2015

The European Champion in Judo 2015 in the men’s category -73 kg is Czech athlete Vaclav Sedmidubsky from Prague University of Economics and Business.
