“Hello!

We are all set for the first ever FISU eSports Challenge. The inaugural 2020 FISU eSports Challenge Football takes place on the virtual pitch of FIFA 20, from 6-16 July. There will be eight action-packed days with 32 male players and 12 female ones battling it out in two separate tournaments.

The all-important draw ceremony takes place at 14:00 CEST on Thursday, 2 July. Do join us LIVE as we stream the draw on our YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and FISU.TV. Are you excited to find out who the best college players in the world will be?

The draw will be conducted such that the first positions of each group will be allocated first, from A through to H. Then the second position of group H will be drawn, ending with the second position of group A. This serpentine format will be followed until all the names and positions have been filled. You will also hear from both, FISU and the Organising Committee about the preparations for this pioneering ‘test event’. So we look forward to having you join us!

Lots more has been happening behind the scenes, even as we prepare for a return to office at the FISU HQ shortly. You can catch up on some of the main news here, below.

Always delighted to have your support,
Your FISU Team”
