Akademické mistrovství světa ve squashi 2020 bylo oficiálně zrušeno
Akademické mistrovství světa ve squashi 2020 se mělo konat 17. – 23. července 2020 v Shanghai, Čína. Organizační výbor rozhodl po dohodě s FISU a na základě vývoje situace kolem koronaviru o jeho zrušení.

Dear National University Sports Federation,
Today, with the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19, most of countries and regions are going through a very serious and challenging situation. In line with the principle “Health and Safety First”, a cautious decision had made after the careful discussion and communication between FISU and the Organizing Committee. We have to inform you regretfully the cancellation of the 2020 World University Squash Championship which scheduled from 17 to 23 July in Shanghai (CHN).
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for all attentions and enthusiasms that you have ever put in the event. This has not been an easy decision to make, but we truly believe it is the wisest choice in these circumstances.
Organizing Committee will keep close contact with FISU and analyze the possibility to postpone the event to an appropriate time. We will keep you informed about any update information. We hope to provide all the participants with a healthy and safe environment and a wonderful event.
We sincerely hope that the COVID-19 pandemic will be brought under control very soon and that we will be able to come back to a normal situation. Stay safe and healthy!
